My Life at Age Sixteen

In the summer I went to the Seattle World's Fair and there I met former Vice-President Richard M. Nixon, who gave me his autograph. On the next day, The Seattle Times had a photograph of Mr. Nixon and the back of my head, bent over at Nixon's shoulder to watch him sign an autograph for someone else.

In my junior year at Blanchet High School I took Latin Three (Vergil) from Father David E. White and chemistry from Mr. Carr. For English our class had Mr. Dennis Kevin Peters.
